We've completed an inaugural JORC Mineral Resource Estimate for the Sunshine deposit at our 100%-owned Idaho Cobalt Operations in the United States. The Sunshine deposit hosts Inferred Resources of 0.52 million metric tonnes with 0.50% cobalt, 0.68% copper, and 0.49 g/t gold, at a 0.25% cobalt cut-off grade. We've commenced an underground resource extension program at the RAM deposit at our 100%-owned Idaho Cobalt Operations in U.S.A., funded under a US$15 million grant from the U.S. Department of Defense. The drilling follows drift mine development alongside the RAM orebody, with exploration programs at RAM and Sunshine also funded by the DoD grant. Prior to these exploration programs, ICO’s mineral resource and reserve were already the largest and highest grade confirmed cobalt orebody in the U.S. The US government has classified cobalt as a critical mineral due to its importance in aerospace, defense, and energy transition applications. The U.S. Congressional Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party has proposed measures to sustain domestic American cobalt production. Jennifer Hinton, Jervois' Group Manager, ESG, attended the "Clean Transition Dialogue on Critical Raw Materials" held at Berlaymont in Brussels on Friday, February 23rd. The dialogue, chaired by Maros Šefčovič, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, brought together 25 high-level representatives from the private sector, financial institutions, and social partners. The aim of the event was to discuss how to create a conducive, competitive business environment across the entire value chain required for the European Green Deal. Participants outlined critical investor challenges and proposed a number of concrete solutions to expedite action, emphasising the importance of agility, creativity, and ambitious action. We've shortlisted two preferred locations for our U.S. Department of Defense funded Bankable Feasibility Study for a cobalt refinery in the United States, in Pennsylvania and Louisiana. Sites are being evaluated to determine the preferred location; commercial negotiations with the states of Pennsylvania and Louisiana are commencing. Completion of site selection is an important milestone in the progress of the basic engineering and accompanying BFS for cobalt refinery in the United States, led by engineering firm AFRY USA LLC, which is expected to be completed by mid-2024. A BFS is key to our previously announced application under the Department of Energy's Advanced Technology Vehicle Manufacturing Loan Program for a U.S. cobalt refinery. The BFS is fully funded by our U.S. DoD Defense Production Act Title III US$15 million funding agreement.
