Tinkerine Showcases Face Shield X and Clear Face Mask

Tinkerine Studios Ltd.

August 7, 2020 – TheNewswire - Tinkerine™ Studios Ltd. (TSXV:TTD) (OTC:TKSTF) ("Tinkerine" or the "Company") announces the showcase of two additional proprietary personal protective equipment (“PPE”) medical products designed by Tinkerine’s Applied Design team. Face Shield X and Face Mask Clear have been under development since Q2 2020 and meets the ongoing demand for premium, best in class PPE. Each product will be presented to stakeholders seeking premium products in this class.

Face Shield X

Tinkerine’s new Face Shield X is designed to be unobstructed and emphasizes allowing people you are interacting with to see you as if you are wearing no shield.

“We are re-envisioning the faceshields of today; large branded strips over the forehead is great for branding, but unnecessary for those wearing them inside a medical setting. A face shield with a no compromise, lightweight, fully sanitizable solution while keeping everyone safe is important. We are aiming for the comfort of those interacting with someone wearing a face shield. This is what best in class means for us.” states Chief Executive Officer Eugene Suyu.

Specifications include antifog, impact/scratch resistant polycarbonate shield cover, medical grade headband strap, silicone adjustable strapping, full reusability, and sanitizable via Autoclave or chemical disinfectant.

Face Mask Clear

Tinkerine’s Face Mask Clear is a fully reusable filtered facemask that allows for facial expressive reading. Existing facemasks generate significant waste as a by-product of the single use nature (2hr or per patient basis). Face Mask Clear looks to change the dialogue by providing a new way to look at the device while focusing on reusability, comfort, and a reduction in waste generated.

Specifications include clear silicone, replaceable filter, reusable except filter and antifog allowing for recognition of facial expression.

Eugene Suyu, Chief Executive Officer states, “Tinkerine’s focus on premium PPE is consistent with our mandate to meet the ongoing challenges of the current Covid19 pandemic and potential future needs for superior PPE. Existing medical devices including face shields and face masks are disposable in nature and are contributing unneccesary waste to land fills. The products we produce should be designed to last longer and provide increased protection for users.”

Face Shield X and Face Mask Clear are ready for commercial production and can be manufactured at Tinkerine’s Health Canada approved manufacturing facility under MDEL 11894.
