Innovotech Appoints Julie Wright to its Board of Directors

Edmonton, Alberta - TheNewswire - July 17, 2023 -  Innovotech (IOT:TSXV) has appointed Julie Wright as a director of the Company effective immediately.  

Wright is President of (W)right On Communications Inc, an award-winning integrated strategic communications firm she founded in 1998 with a head office in San Diego, Calif.  Her industry experience spans the cleantech, energy, healthcare, high-tech, life sciences, manufacturing, tourism and travel sectors, among others, with clients ranging from startups through Fortune 500 companies.  

Wright will be granted 50,000 incentive stock options at $0.10 exercisable over five years.

Wright currently serves on the Board of Directors of CanBiocin Inc., a privately-held Edmonton-based companion animal and livestock probiotic innovator, and as chair of Vancouver-based Lonsdale Capital Corporation. She is a director and past chair of the San Diego North Economic Development Council and a current director of Cal Travel, the advocacy organization for California’s travel and tourism industry.

Wright holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Journalism degree from the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of Western Ontario.  She is a graduate of the Governance Academy of the Corporate Director’s Forum.
