Kda Group Adds Jean-Marc Leveille to its Strategic Advisory Board and as a Consultant

(TSXV:KDA) (“KDA” or the “Corporation”) is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Jean-Marc Léveillé as a new member of its Strategic Advisory Board (the “Strategic Board”) and as a consultant in human resources and strategic planning.

The Strategic Board is comprised of respected business leaders who provide guidance and assistance to KDA’s management team in their efforts and decision-making to build, strengthen and grow its business model as part of its national and worldwide growth strategy.

The current members of the Strategic Board are Messrs. Denis Gadbois, Yves Marmet, Anthony Rail, Yves Salembier and Dr. Shane Morris, with Mr. Jean-Marc Léveillé joining them. The Strategic Board will now be composed of six (6) members. The Corporation’s management may modify the Strategic Board at any time and place according to its needs and the specific expertise required and sought of each member.

JEAN-MARC LÉVEILLÉ – Mr. Léveillé is a seasoned manager and recognized entrepreneur in the business community, and has been working for over 30 years at the strategic planning of organizations. He studied finance at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières before graduating from the Université de Montréal in industrial relations.

His career began as an operations manager in the retail sector. He was then entrusted with management mandates in human resources in the shipbuilding (Marine Industrie Vickers) and aeronautics (Héroux Devtek) sectors. He created flourishing companies in the management sector, executive recruiting, pharmacy practice, pharmacy training and maintenance and reliability. The companies have had a national and international exposure.

Jean-Marc is an experienced manager who advises many executives and board members in the management of their operations but also in the identification of the skills required to achieve their business plan (telecommunication, information technology, raw material exploitation, aeronautics, high technology, defense engineering sector, details, etc.). Today, he is President of Dotemtex Inc. and acts as a senior consultant for various organizations that require his expertise. He has served on various boards of directors in addition to being heavily involved in the community and cultural milieu. In 2015, he was recognized by the City of Longueuil as the recipient of the Involvement Award for the Orchestre symphonique de Longueuil. For many years, he played an active role in the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines et relations industrielles agréés du Québec (the “Ordre”), most notably as Executive Vice-President and Treasurer of the Ordre. In 2018, the Ordre recognized his exceptional contribution to the profession both in terms of his skills and achievements by granting him the title of Fellow.

Jean-Marc is recognized and sought after for his communication skills, leadership, ability to understand issues and establish effective and efficient strategies to achieve goals. Senior executives appreciate his practical advice, his vast experience and his transparency.

 

The Corporation would also like to inform that it has received a legal action filed with the Superior Court of Quebec, District of Montreal, Quebec by its former Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Sylvain Duvernay, which was served on the Corporation on March 7, 2021. As previously announced on September 15, 2021, the Corporation terminated the employment of its former Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Duvernay, on September 14, 2021. The Corporation intends to vigorously defend itself against this lawsuit, which it believes to be without merit in fact and in law, and will make its case before the Court in due course.
