Element79 Gold Gains Community Support for Lucero Mine Restart

Vancouver, B.C. -- October 9, 2024 -- NewsGenie -- Element79 Gold Corp. (CSE: ELEM) has announced significant progress in its community engagement efforts near the Lucero Project in Chachas, Peru. These efforts align mining operations with sustainable community development.

On October 6, Element79 representatives addressed over 1,000 residents at a General Assembly in Huarocopalca, advancing dialogue for surface rights access to restart the Lucero Mine and potentially build a processing plant, pending final terms.

Element79 Gold Corp CEO James Tworek stated, "This vote shows the majority of the greater Chachas community is pro-mining and pro-Element79. We will be proceeding with final negotiations." Tworek added that the company is committed to working with local miners to improve mine operations and optimize production while upholding federal standards.

Over the past months, Element79 has worked with the communities of Chachas to align initiatives and discuss contractual terms. This has led to a "Dialogue and Negotiation Table" to discuss infrastructure use and land-use agreements.

Chachas Communal President Sr. Melitón Raymundo Carhua Condori emphasized the importance of collaboration. The Company aims to secure Formalization between local miners operating under the REINFO program and mineral right holders like Element79 Gold Corp, enabling legal mining operations.

The Company aims to finalize land-use agreements by the end of 2024. Element79 has presented a territorial development plan for mining, drilling, exploration, and building a regional processing plant. The Lomas Doradas Association, representing communal miners, is integrated into negotiations to formalize their operations.

Element79 is also working with the Peruvian Regional Directorate of Energy and Mines (DREM) to expedite the Formalization process.

Element79 remains committed to communication with the Chachas community and has established a Sustainability Office in Chachas.

Element79 Gold is focused on restarting production at the Lucero Project in Arequipa, Peru. The Company also holds properties in Nevada and an option to acquire the Dale Property in Ontario, transferred to its subsidiary, Synergy Metals Corp.
