Green Battery Minerals Hits High-Grade Graphite at Berkwood Project

Vancouver, B.C. -- September 6th, 2023 -- NewsGenie -- Green Battery Minerals Inc. (TSXV: GEM, FSE: BK2P, OTC: GBMIF) has announced positive assay results from its drilling program at Zone 6 of the Berkwood graphite property in Quebec. The drilling, designed to follow up on surface work, intercepted graphite mineralization at depth along the defined 600m strike length, with one intercept measuring 14.41% graphite over 19.0 meters.

Tom Yingling, President and CEO of GEM, stated the results will contribute to their already existing 550,000 tonne graphite resource and add value as they move towards delivering a PEA. He also noted the importance of a North American source of graphite as billions are invested in battery plants, securing the supply chain for LIB manufacturers.

The company drilled 20 holes totaling 2058m. The core of the fold nose and north limb, representing 1000m of strike length, remain untested.

The Berkwood Graphite Project is located three hours from Baie-Comeau, Quebec, with easy access via roads. Green Battery Minerals believes its Zone 1 deposit shares geological similarities with Nouveau Monde’s deposit, which has a $3.5 billion NPV. The current mineral resource includes 1,755,300 tonnes of indicated resources at 17.00 % Cgr and 1,526,400 tonnes in inferred resources at 16.39 % Cgr.
