Tocvan Ventures Strikes Gold and Silver at Pilar Project
Calgary, Alberta -- August 30, 2022 -- NewsGenie -- Tocvan Ventures Corp. (CSE:TOC); (OTC:TCVNF); (FSE:TV3) has announced promising drill results from its Pilar Au-Ag Project in Sonora, Mexico. The company completed seven drill holes, totaling 1,382 meters, with the final four holes revealing significant mineralization.
Drill hole JES-22-72, located 125 meters southeast of JES-22-63, yielded 22.9 meters of 0.3 g/t Au and 19 g/t Ag, including 7.6 meters of 0.8 g/t Au and 51 g/t Ag. Additional drill holes intersected low-grade gold and silver, suggesting proximity to substantial mineralization. Hole JES-22-70 returned 12.2 meters of 0.3 g/t Au, including 3.1 meters of 0.8 g/t Au, while JES-22-69 intersected 1.5 meters of 0.7 g/t Au at the end of the hole, which remains open at depth.

CEO Brodie Sutherland stated that the reconnaissance drilling indicates continued mineralization to the southeast and in parallel trends to the Main Zone. The company is planning the next stage of drilling at Pilar.
Highlights from the drill results include:
- JES-22-72: 22.9m of 0.3 g/t Au and 19 g/t Ag from 27.5m, including 7.6m of 0.8 g/t Au and 51 g/t Ag.
- JES-22-70: 12.2m of 0.3 g/t Au from surface, including 3.1m of 0.8 g/t Au.
- JES-22-69: 1.5m of 0.7 g/t Au at the end of the hole.
Tocvan's Pilar property is considered a structurally controlled low-sulphidation epithermal system in andesite rocks. The company has identified three zones of mineralization: the Main Zone, North Hill, and 4-T. Over 22,000 meters of drilling has been completed to date.
