Durango Resources Seeks Drill Permits for Discovery Property
Vancouver, BC -- April 21, 2021 -- NewsGenie -- Durango Resources Inc. (TSXV:DGO) has applied for drill permits on its wholly-owned Discovery property, located near the past-producing Troilus gold mine owned by Troilus Gold Corp. (TSX-TLG) and neighboring UrbanGold Minerals Inc. (TSXV-UGM).
The 6,700ha Discovery Property, accessible via the Route du Nord, covers a significant geological structure trending towards Troilus. Durango has requested permits for 15 exploration drill holes for the 2021 season.
Durango's technical team is planning an exploration program for the Discovery Property in June 2021, following their Windfall Lake program. CEO Marcy Kiesman noted previous grab samples yielded up to 7 g/t gold at surface. The company anticipates receiving permits to conduct follow-up work this summer.
The Discovery claims are adjacent to Osisko Mining Inc. (TSX-OSK) and 60km from Troilus Gold Inc.’s past producing mine. The property is located in the Frotet Evans greenstone belt. Durango is a natural resources company focused on mineral property acquisition and exploration, with a 100% interest in properties in the Windfall Lake gold camp.
