Ashley Gold's Geophysics Pinpoints Promising Drill Targets at Tabor Lake

Calgary, Alberta -- July 26, 2023 -- NewsGenie -- Ashley Gold Corp. has completed inversion modelling of drone magnetics data, revealing a magnetic low anomaly that aligns with the interpreted porphyry intrusion at its Tabor Lake property. This discovery is set to guide the company's 2023 drill program, with the anomaly extending significantly below historical drilling depths.

President Darcy Christian stated the inversion results bolster confidence in the interpretation of the Tabor Lake deposit's depth. The correlation between the magnetic low anomaly and surface/historical drilling intersections indicates the potential for additional mineralization at depth.

The Quartz Feldspar Porphyry (QFP) is associated with gold mineralization and has a negative magnetic susceptibility, contrasting with the higher susceptibility of surrounding mafic rocks. The magnetic anomaly extends to the bottom of the inversion model (~1,000m), with another anomaly identified to the northwest.

The anomaly measures approximately 200m by 150m, extending to depths greater than 250m on the eastern side and increasing to ~1,000m to the southwest. Historical drilling reached depths of ~150m, leaving a substantial untested area. The upcoming drill program will focus on this area.

Historical bulk samples from the site yielded high gold grades, including a 77-ton sample averaging 17g/t Au and a 1.75-ton sample running 42g/t Au. Drill hole #8 intersected 838g/t Au over 1m, which will also be a focus of the upcoming drill program.

Shannon Baird, P.Geo, Exploration Manager, is the Qualified Person overseeing the technical content. Ashley Gold is focused on discovering and developing world-class gold deposits within its portfolio of projects in northwestern Ontario.
