Liquid Avatar Revamps Mobile App for Secure, On-the-Go Data Sharing
Toronto, Canada -- September 30, 2021 -- NewsGenie -- Liquid Avatar Technologies Inc. has announced a major update to its Liquid Avatar Mobile App, featuring a redesigned user interface and enhanced experience. The update, combined with the Liquid Avatar Wallet, allows users to securely share verifiable digital identity credentials, like health records and government IDs, using blockchain technology. This ensures fraud resistance, security, and privacy.
The updated app, which has already seen over 13,000 downloads in its pilot phase, enables users to manage their online personas and selectively share information. The new version supports a personal digital wallet for storing various verifiable identity credentials that can be digitally verified without divulging personally identifiable information (PII).

The Liquid Avatar Mobile App is powered by the Liquid Avatar Verifiable Credentials Ecosystem (LAVCE) and supports a new method of issuing, sharing, and verifying information. It allows businesses to interact with customers with high assurance of data validity while preserving privacy and preventing fraud.
"This significant update to the Liquid Avatar Mobile App provides a framework, together with the LAVCE and our upcoming SDKs, to create an interoperable system for holders, issuers and verifiers to be able to integrate with other apps, services and providers similar to card and payment networks and ATMs,” added Lucatch.
Liquid Avatar Technologies has also invested in Indicio.tech and is developing its technology with data privacy principles similar to Ontario’s plan for Digital Identity. The company will offer a software development kit (SDK) for iOS and Android to support digital wallets and verifiable credentials.
