Mountain Valley MD Advances Ivermectin Delivery with Quicksome™ Technology
VANCOUVER, B.C. -- August 6, 2020 -- NewsGenie -- Mountain Valley MD Holdings Inc. has initiated pre-clinical trials to assess the efficacy of its Quicksome™ technology in enhancing the oral absorption of Ivermectin. The trials will also gather pharmacokinetic data on the Quicksome™ oral strip sublingual technology. The company has successfully integrated ivermectin into its Quicksome™ rapid dissolve oral strip technology.
Ivermectin, an antiparasitic drug used extensively in livestock, companion animals, and humans, is being explored for broader applications, including malaria control and potential COVID-19 treatment. Research indicates ivermectin's antiviral potential.
