Adamera Minerals Expands Cooke Mountain Project with New Land Acquisition
Vancouver, B.C. -- March 11, 2020 -- NewsGenie -- Adamera Minerals Corp. and its earn-in partner Hochschild Mining PLC have expanded their Cooke Mountain project by acquiring an additional 2,600 acres. The new claims, secured through staking, are believed to hold geological and structural extensions of the existing Cooke Mountain area.
With milder winter conditions in the Republic district, Adamera is commencing field activities to prepare for a 2020 drilling program. Hochschild and Adamera are collaborating on the program's details, prioritizing induced polarization (IP) surveying to refine targets at depth.
"The budget demonstrates a significant commitment to the project," stated Mark Kolebaba, President and CEO of Adamera Minerals Corp. "In the past few years Adamera drilled several targets, returning high-grade gold results. This budget is being designed to further test these intercepts, particularly at depth and also to test several new targets. We will press release the final budget and details of the program as well as highest priority drill targets in the weeks ahead.”
The earn-in agreement, announced on January 22, 2020, allows Hochschild to earn a 60% interest in the projects by investing US$8 million over 5 years. They can further increase their stake by 15% by solely funding a feasibility study over an additional 3 years, subject to conditions outlined in the initial release.
Adamera Minerals Corp. focuses on exploring for high-grade gold deposits near Republic, Washington, an area with a reported historical production of over 7 million ounces of high-grade gold.
