Ecolomondo Amends Output Data for Tire Recycling Plant in Hawkesbury
Montreal, QC -- February 20, 2025 -- NewsGenie -- Ecolomondo Corporation (TSXV: ECM) (OTCQB: ECLMF) has issued a correction to a previous press release concerning its Hawkesbury TDP facility, dated February 18, 2025. The original release contained an error regarding the output of tire-derived oil.
In the earlier release, Ecolomondo stated that it had produced approximately 900,000 gallons of tire-derived oil during its 100th full-capacity batch in January 2025. The corrected figure is 90,000 gallons. The company apologizes for the error.
Ecolomondo, based in Quebec, specializes in Thermal Decomposition technology (TDP) for recycling scrap tires. Its Hawkesbury facility is designed to process over 1.5 million scrap tires annually, producing recovered carbon black, oil, steel, and process gas.
The company is also planning a larger Shamrock facility, projected to process 5 million tires per year, with construction slated to begin in the third quarter of 2025. Ecolomondo aims to be a key player in the circular economy, focusing on the recovery and reuse of resources from end-of-life tires.
Ecolomondo recently obtained International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) for its Hawkesbury TDP facility.
