BYND Cannasoft Appoints New CEO and Board Member, Advances Cannabis Initiatives
Vancouver, British Columbia -- June 24, 2021 -- NewsGenie -- BYND Cannasoft Enterprises Inc. (CNSX:BYND.CN) has announced the appointment of Yftah Ben Yaackov as its new Chief Executive Officer. Ben Yaackov will be responsible for spearheading the construction of the company's medical cannabis farm. Moti Maram, the previous CEO, will transition to President and CEO of BYND – Beyond Solutions Ltd., focusing on the development of a new Cannabis CRM software platform.
Additionally, Stefánia Szabó has been appointed to the board of directors, filling the vacancy left by Roman Brenner, who resigned to pursue other business ventures. Dr. Szabó brings over 25 years of experience in government services, management, international business, and public relations, with expertise in fostering relationships between European and Canadian government networks.
According to Mr. Ben Yaackov, Dr. Szabó’s background in government and international relations will be an invaluable asset to the Company.
BYND Cannasoft is an integrated software/cannabis company based in Israel. The company owns and markets Benefit CRM software and is developing a new CRM platform tailored for the medical cannabis industry. BYND has also obtained a primary growing license and plans to build a 3.7-acre cannabis farm near Ashkelon, Israel, with an estimated production capacity of 7,500kg of raw cannabis per year.
