Lithium Chile and Eramet Forge Joint Venture for Molle Verde Project
Calgary, Alberta -- February 10, 2025 -- NewsGenie -- Lithium Chile Inc. has entered a joint venture agreement with Eramet, a European mining company, to advance the Molle Verde project within Lithium Chile's Llamara property.
Under the agreement, Eramet will conduct a phased exploration program over three to four years, potentially increasing its share capital in the joint venture up to 70% by the end of phase three, with an option to acquire 100% equity. Lithium Chile is entitled to a pre-agreed bonus based on the delineated Lithium Carbonate Equivalent resources.
Steve Cochrane, President & CEO of Lithium Chile, emphasized the partnership's significance in strengthening the company's position and advancing sustainable mineral projects in Chile. He also highlighted the potential value of Lithium Chile’s project portfolio.
Lithium Chile has a portfolio of 11 properties spanning 107,936 hectares in Chile and 29,245 hectares on the Salar de Arizaro in Argentina. Eramet focuses on extracting and processing metals essential for sustainable development.
