Leocor Mining Completes Drill Program at Baie Verte Project
Vancouver, British Columbia -- March 25, 2025 -- NewsGenie -- Leocor Mining Inc. has completed its drill program at the Baie Verte project, a 2,002-ha gold-copper exploration package in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Crews demobilized on March 18th after completing 27 drillholes totaling 3040.5m at the Copper Creek and Dorset prospects.
Drilling at Copper Creek included 21 holes totaling 2308.5 meters, with 18 encountering chalcopyrite mineralization. Highlights included:
- 2.3m length in hole 25-CC-014 with 15% banded chalcopyrite and 10% pyrite.
- 13.4m drilled length in hole 25-CC-012 with 1% blebby chalcopyrite.
- 4.4m drilled length in hole 25-CC-007 with 3% blebby chalcopyrite.
Holes 25-CC-015, -017, -019, and -020 intersected semi-massive pyrite over lengths between 0.2m and 2.2m. The Company awaits assay results from 1671 samples from Copper Creek drilling.

At the Dorset gold prospect, six holes totaling 732 meters were drilled. Highlights included intersecting a pyrite mineralized quartz vein with a drilled length of 1.1 meters in hole 25-DR-005. The Company awaits assay results from 655 samples from Dorset drillholes.

The true grade and thickness will be determined upon receipt of assay results, expected within four weeks for the first batch of Copper Creek samples. SGS is processing the samples.
