PyroDelta Unveils Radiator to Convert Data Center Waste Heat into Electricity

Vancouver, BC -- March 26, 2025 -- NewsGenie -- PyroDelta Energy Inc., a majority-owned subsidiary of First Tellurium Corp., has developed a thermoelectric radiator designed to convert waste heat from AI and crypto mining data centers into clean electricity. The device, based on PyroDelta’s automobile thermoelectric generator design, utilizes the liquid used in AI data center immersion cooling processes, passing it through a radiator tube. The temperature differential generates electricity silently and consistently, without moving parts.

According to PyroDelta Chief Engineer Michael Abdelmaseh, AI data centers generate enormous amounts of heat, and the industry is focused on ways to use that heat to reduce power loads and become more efficient. Following discussions with a Canadian-based AI company, PyroDelta has completed a prototype for installation and testing at a data center facility.

The AI data center industry is experiencing unprecedented growth, driven by the increasing demand for artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and big data processing. The recoverable waste heat from today’s AI data centers has been estimated at 1 TWh, equivalent to the heating requirements for 100,000 housing units. By 2030, the potential for recoverable waste heat could represent 3.5 TWh as data centers expand to meet increasing AI demands.

The PyroDelta AI thermoelectric generator would require little or no modification to work with crypto mining facilities, potentially opening a second large market for the device. First Tellurium’s business model involves generating revenue and value through mineral discovery, project development, and the development of tellurium-based technologies.
