The company welcomes Dino Sgueglia and Timothy Hardiman, whose extensive experience and diverse backgrounds will provide invaluable guidance as Kubera Black Technologies continues to grow and innovate in the security and technology sectors.

Dino Sgueglia - Member, Board of Directors

A serial entrepreneur with over thirty years of experience, Dino Sgueglia has founded multiple successful companies throughout his career. In 1988, he established Curvepay, creating innovative payment solutions through credit card acceptance in taxi cabs. Under his leadership, Curvepay grew to become one of the largest transaction processors in U.S. cabs, handling over $100 million in annual transactions before its acquisition. Mr. Sgueglia currently serves as a lead investor, board member, and director for several companies, bringing his wealth of business acumen to Kubera Black Technology Inc.

Timothy Hardiman - Director

Timothy J. Hardiman brings a distinguished background in law enforcement and private investigation to the board. A 23-year veteran of the NYPD, Mr. Hardiman retired as an Inspector serving as the Commanding Officer of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx. His extensive investigative experience includes service as the Commanding Officer of the 71st Precinct Detective Squad in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, as well as the Brooklyn Special Victims Squad. He also supervised operations in the Principal Crime Unit of the Intelligence Division.

As the owner of Viceroy Investigations & Consulting LLC, Mr. Hardiman has conducted hundreds of private investigations, including cases involving sexual misconduct, employee theft, litigation support, and missing persons. Prior to his law enforcement career, Mr. Hardiman served in the United States Marine Corps as a Nuclear Biological and Chemical Warfare NCO.

Mr. Hardiman is a respected educator who has provided instruction at the NYPD's Criminal Investigation Course and Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Course. He is also a frequent presenter on sexual assault investigations at law enforcement conferences and serves as an instructor with the Southern Police Institute's Sex Crimes Investigation class. Since 2004, he has been the Technical Consultant for the long-running police procedural "Law & Order: SVU."

Kubera Black Technology Establishes Strategic Advisory Board, Appoints Dr. Templeton as Chairman

In a move to further bolster its strategic capabilities and support the growth of its incubated companies, Kubera Black Technology is also launching a new Advisory Board. This board will comprise executives from leading industries who will provide invaluable guidance on acquisitions and the operational aspects of the companies incubated by Kubera Black Technology.

The first member and Chairman of this newly formed Advisory Board is Dr. Philip Templeton. Dr. Templeton brings a strong and unique background encompassing both academic and entrepreneurial medicine.

His academic highlights include serving as Thoracic Radiology Section Chief at both Johns Hopkins Hospital and the University of Maryland Medical System. He also served as a Consultant Radiologist at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology and held the position of Radiology Professor and Chairman at the University of Maryland for ten years. Templeton's major academic focus was on the application of CT and related technologies in examining thoracic pathology, resulting in over 150 publications. He was a pioneer in the field of CT Fluoroscopy, lecturing and demonstrating CT Fluoro biopsy techniques both nationally and internationally.  Dr. Templeton was also at the forefront of digital x-ray technology and the implementation of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and teleradiology. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Templeton has served on or led medical advisory boards for numerous prominent companies including Marconi, AGFA, Toshiba, 3M, Swissray, IDC, Neurostar, Biotronics, Episonica, GROM SOCIAL, UX MAKE, and provided advisory services to IMIX Americas. He was a sought-after speaker and participant in national sales meetings and image reviews for these organizations. He also served as a consultant to Sun-Tec private hospital in Shanghai, China. His current advisory CMO roles include The Teledentists, KA Imaging and Scan.com.

In 2001, Dr. Templeton transitioned from his academic chair to establish and develop a successful national teleradiology business, serving 34 U.S. states and achieving a #2 national ranking. Following the sale of this company in 2008, he continued to work for the acquiring entity until 2011. Subsequently, he has served as a consultant, chief medical officer, and investor/entrepreneur across various medical and non-medical fields. He held the CEO position at a database company and currently serves as the Founder and Chief Medical Officer of DocPanel Technologies Inc.
