Montréal – TheNewswire - November 4, 2026 – St-Georges Eco-Mining Corp. (CSE: SX) (US OTC: SXOOF) (FSE: 85G1) announces that trading in its common shares on the Canadian Securities Exchange will resume at 11:00 Eastern Time today under the symbol SX. The resumption follows the previously announced revocation of the applicable cease trade orders and confirmation from the CSE that trading may resume.
Corporate Update
As trading resumes, St-Georges is providing shareholders with an update on work across its portfolio. The Company is seeking partners for its Québec mineral assets, planning its next exploration campaigns in Québec and Iceland, assessing the next phase of its technology programs and working to restore consistent operations at EVSX’s Thorold facility.
The Company will promptly disclose any new material information by news release in accordance with applicable securities laws and exchange requirements. Wherever practicable, such releases will be issued outside regular market hours.
Québec Mineral Projects
St-Georges continues to seek exploration and development partners for its Québec mineral assets, including the Manicouagan and Julie nickel critical minerals projects and the Notre-Dame niobium project. The Company is evaluating project-level partnerships that could bring exploration capital and technical expertise to the next phase of work.
At Manicouagan, St-Georges is planning a 2027 exploration campaign. Recent copper prices have reinforced the Company’s decision to give copper greater weight in selecting targets alongside nickel and platinum group elements. The Company is reviewing previous drilling and surface exploration to identify priority targets and define follow-up fieldwork. The scope and timing of the campaign will depend on funding, field logistics and any required authorizations.
Iceland Resources
Iceland Resources ehf is planning its next exploration campaign at the Brunnárdalur gold-silver project in northern Iceland while Aurania Resources Ltd. advances the Thormódsdalur gold project under its option agreement. The first drilling campaign under the agreement at Thormódsdalur was completed in October 2026.
Iceland Resources also continues to advance its geothermal metallurgy initiative, which evaluates the recovery of metals from materials generated by Iceland’s geothermal energy industry. The work is progressing more slowly than planned as the subsidiary defines the next phase of technical evaluation.
St-Georges Metallurgy and H2SX
St-Georges Metallurgy and H2SX are defining the next phase of their respective development programs. St-Georges Metallurgy will undertake further technical and commercial analysis to prioritize applications for its mineral-processing and lithium recovery technologies. H2SX will assess new development and commercialization approaches for its hydrogen and solid-carbon technologies. This work will guide the development of new technical approaches and the evaluation of potential partnerships for both initiatives.
EVSX Battery Recycling
EVSX operated intermittently at its Thorold facility during the past quarter. Irregular cash receipts during the ramp-up and work to address issues arising from the operating transition have limited processing continuity. Management expects the ramp-up to continue for at least another quarter before EVSX reaches its intended operating pace. Discussions with the landlord over rent arrears and with creditors, trade contractors and suppliers over payment arrangements are ongoing. EVSX is also reconciling obligations from the transition period, including amounts that remain to be established. As of November 4, 2026, EVSX had paid $160,000 toward its previously announced $484,463 debenture settlement, using proceeds from its revolving credit facility and cash collected from recent operations.
EVSX can process alkaline batteries and produce separate zinc-bearing and copper-brass concentrates for potential sale to refiners. This degree of separation goes beyond the original process design and gives EVSX more options for marketing recovered metals. For lithium batteries, EVSX is developing several discharge methods tailored to different battery formats to control handling and processing costs.
Management believes that most battery types could contribute to positive operating cash flow at sufficient volumes and on suitable commercial terms. Certain rare or specialized battery types may be uneconomic to process because of low volumes or the need for dedicated handling.
