Len Brownlie, Director of Pathfinder and Former CEO of Discovery One Investment Corp. stated: “It is with great sadness that we must inform the shareholders of Pathfinder that Jim O'Rourke, co-founder of Pathfinder’s predecessor company Discovery One Investment Corp., passed away peacefully at home on October 17th after a brief illness.”  

Len Brownlie continued: “Jim was a legend in the mining business and one of the genuinely nicest people I have ever met. I had the pleasure of working with him for 25 years and his work ethic, honesty, integrity, and gregarious nature were a real inspiration.  I learned more from him than from anyone else in business, and not just about business, but also how to treat people with respect.  Going for lunch with Jim was always a lengthy affair because even a short walk to a restaurant would take a long time - he knew so many people and they would always want to stop and say hello.  To say he was liked and respected is an understatement.  We'll all miss you, Jim.”
