Col. Appleton brings decades of operational experience in Canada, Sarajevo, Iraq, Afghanistan and Central Asia working on clean energy, environmental, and land decontamination projects with private industry, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the Canadian and US Military, and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). Furthermore Col. Appleton brings a wealth of resource sector experience and connections as the head of Canadian operations for Fortescue Metals Group (ASX: FMG), the 4th largest producer of iron ore globally.

In connection with the appointment, Windfall announces the grant of options to Col. Appleton, exercisable for a period of 5 years at $0.42.
