Vancouver, B.C. / TheNewswire / February 7, 2018 - Cloud Nine Education Group Ltd. (the “Company” or "Cloud Nine") (CSE:CNI) is pleased to announce the Company has developed a proprietary IELTS Test Preparation course to complement its cloud-hosted General English Language Curriculum. The Cloud Nine course runs for three months and, unlike other IELTS test programs, focuses on how to score well on the test rather than just outlining what topics are likely to be encountered.
Speaking about their newest product Company CEO, Al Larmour, said, “We are very excited to be able to offer the IELTS Test Prep Program. It’s proven that it assists learners to develop practical skills and we are certain it’s going to help a lot of people to improve their IELTS score.”
In developing its own, proprietary curriculum, Cloud Nine has positioned itself to penetrate the lucrative international IELTS testing market and add to the Company’s bottom line. Millions of people write the IELTS test all over the world each year, often spending thousands of dollars on programs like the Cloud Nine curriculum to prepare. The test itself costs between $215 - $245.
The IELTS course is the first in a series of shorter, specialized ESL courses that Cloud Nine will be releasing. As with all the learning material that the Company develops, a flipped classroom methodology will assist the teacher with classroom management and provide students with personalized study programs.
Company Expands its Cloud-Hosted, General English Program
The Company has also expanded its cloud-hosted, digitally-oriented General English Program adding lesson and review content for all five levels of its CEFR compliant curriculum. Going forward, Cloud Nine intends to expand the program further and enable instructors to customize the ESL studies program they wish to teach.
All lesson plans incorporate the CELTA teaching methodology and are compliant with the pedagogy contained in the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) which is generally regarded as the highest standard in the world for second language acquisition.
