The Educational Partnership Foundation’s Golf Tournament, bringing Calgary’s community together for 16 years
CALGARY / TheNewswire / August 8 2017 - The Educational Partnership Foundation’s (TEPF) Links & Legends Golf Tournament is set to tee off for the 16th year, on Monday, August 14, 2017. The Golf Tournament is hosted at Valley Ridge Golf Course and brings Local Legends, companies from different sectors around Alberta, and Calgarians together for a day full of fun. The funds raised from this tournament are reinvested into the community through reading and citizenship programs for over 220,000 students accross Alberta. TEPF works closely with six school districts around Alberta and they are able to support student led initiatives that have a direct impact on their surrounding community.
A Grade 5 student who has been involved with these programs first hand, Cash Wondrasek, says, “Without TEPF and the different sponsors, I wouldn’t be able to participate in these cool activities my school provides. Every student should deserve a chance to have fun and make a good impact on their school and community.”
This tournament wouldn’t be possible without the amazing sponsors that contribute every year. Din Ladak, President and CEO says, “Every year, I know this tournament is going to be a success because of the outpour of support we receive every year from companies in Calgary. It warms your heart to see how much other people want your company to succeed.”
