CALGARY / TheNewswire / Grade Five student Cash Wondrasek, a young philanthropist from Heritage Heights School in Dewinton is raising funds to promote reading. He is one of five students on the Reading…Give it a Shot! Poster for The Educational Partnership Foundation and has already raised close to $3500 for the Foundation in three weeks. “Reading has helped me become a better person, and everyone should read”. A brother to twin sisters and a one year old recent addition to the family, Cash gets his drive from his Dad. “I want to be like my Dad, always driven, never stops and always puts others ahead of himself”, says Cash. He will be joining over a hundred golfers including various Legends of Calgary at The Educational Partnership Foundation’s (TEPF) Links & Legends Golf Tournament on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Valley Ridge Golf Course. The tremendous support that TEPF receives every year from businesses around Calgary, even in these hard times, is outstanding. “The money provides the route to reading for over 220,000 students of Alberta”, states Kevin Strybosch, Manager of Programs and Services at the Foundation. According to the Chair of the Board Robert Fooks, “Cash is a great kid and an exemplary role model”. “Reading is an important life skill” says Robert.

Diamond Sponsor of the Tournament, ConocoPhillips, is a major supporter for this tournament, and will be represented by three teams on the golf course.
