Quantum Critical Metals Begins Site Visits on Babine Copper Projects
August 20, 2025 — Quantum Critical Metals Corp. is initiating site visits on its Babine copper projects north of Smithers, B.C., to establish property access, verify previous Minfile showings, continue geological mapping, and collect grab samples. The Babine North property covers the Friday Red copper B.C. Minfile showing, hosting disseminated chalcopyrite in volcanic rocks, 90 km east of Hazelton, B.C. The Babine East package, along Takla Lake's western side, hosts the Adda B.C. Minfile showing, with historical assays reporting 5.49 g/t silver and 10.6% copper from chalcopyrite veins.
The Babine South property covers the B.C. Minfile Bol showing on Babine Lake's north side, with historical sampling yielding silver values up to 2,790 g/t. The Babine Swift property hosts a historic Minfile showing with disseminated chalcopyrite and pyrite, stringer quartz with chalcopyrite, quartz-carbonate veins, and massive sulfide boulders, with grab samples returning 0.46–1.28% copper, 11.6–14.8 g/t silver, and 0.13–2.15 g/t gold.
The Babine West property borders American Eagle’s NAK deposit (TSXV: AE) and Amarc Resources’ Duke Property (TSXV: AHR). Melane Mackay, P.Geo., is the qualified person who has reviewed and approved the scientific and technical disclosure in this news release. CEO Marcy Kiesman says Quantum continues to advance its portfolio of critical metal projects to supply North America with critical minerals while developing opportunities for future joint ventures and collaborations with other mining companies. Geological mapping and outcrop sampling are essential early-stage exploration activities that set the stage for geophysics and drilling.
