Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. Grants Stock Options
August 21, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. has granted 2,800,000 stock options to directors, officers, employees, and consultants. The options carry an exercise price of $0.11 and are exercisable for a period of five years, expiring on August 21, 2031.
The Company is focused on rediscovering the Cariboo Gold Rush through targeted drilling and trenching programs on its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property. This property is situated in central British Columbia, northeast of Hixon, and encompasses 94,899 hectares (234,501 acres).
The Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property is bordered by Osisko Gold Group Inc. and is partly intertwined with them at the north end of the Cariboo Gold Project. It lies along a favourable corridor adjacent to the Spanish and Eureka thrust faults.
Historically, the 90-kilometer (56-mile) trend from the Cariboo Hudson mine north to the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property has recorded production from over 101 placer gold creeks, with successful placer mining continuing to the present day.
The Property includes the Quesnelle Quartz gold-silver deposit, first discovered in 1865. The deposit was developed over a footprint of approximately 150m x 150m (< 6 acres) at the Main zone, which straddles Hixon Creek.
Geologically, the mineralization at the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property shows significant similarities to the Spanish Mountain gold deposit, located 120 km (75 miles) southeast along the same geological trend. The Spanish Mountain deposit, classified as a sediment-hosted vein (SHV) deposit, is considered part of the epizonal orogenic subclass of gold deposits, which includes major deposits globally such as Muruntau in Uzbekistan and Bendigo in Australia.
