Renforth Resources Announces Positive Mineralogical Results at Victoria Nickel Project

Malartic, Quebec -- March 27, 2025 -- NewsGenie -- Renforth Resources Inc. (CSE: RFR) has released encouraging findings from mineralogical characterization work on core samples from its Victoria nickel sulphide polymetallic structure, part of the Malartic Metals Package. The study, encompassing 18 samples across a 2.5km drilled strike, aimed to assess the deportment of copper, nickel, zinc, and sulfur within various rock types.

Key findings include:

  • Copper: 90-100% of copper (0.01-0.16% assay) was present as chalcopyrite, with the remainder as bornite.
  • Nickel: At 0.03-0.27% assay, 2-98% of the nickel was found in pentlandite and violarite, with the rest in pyrrhotite and pyrite. Samples exceeding 0.1% nickel had over half of their nickel content in nickel-sulphide minerals.
  • Zinc: Zinc grades ranged from 0.01-1.5%. Higher copper samples also had higher zinc. Zinc above 0.1% was in sphalerite, while lower grades were in chromite and steel.
  • Sulfur: The 18 samples measured between 0.3 to 8.7% sulfur. 60-95% of this sulfur was present as pyrrhotite.

The study also indicated the potential for liberating copper, nickel, and zinc through flotation, though further metallurgical testing is needed to determine optimal grind sizes. According to Nicole Brewster, President and CEO of Renforth, these results, combined with previous TOMRA sorting tests, suggest Victoria is metallurgically viable, warranting further exploration. The project has benefited from grant support from the Government of Québec.

Samples were processed at ALS Metallurgy in Kamloops, BC, involving crushing, grinding, and mineralogical analysis using QEMSCAN BMAL protocols. Francis Newton P.Geo OGQ, a qualified person under NI43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical content of this release.
