San Lorenzo Gold Hits Significant Gold Grades at Cerro Blanco
Calgary -- March 17, 2025 -- NewsGenie -- San Lorenzo Gold Corp. (TSXV: SLG) has announced assay results from the second and third drill holes at its Cerro Blanco gold/copper porphyry target within the Salvadora property in Chile. All three reconnaissance holes returned significant gold grades, indicating a sizeable mineralized feature open at depth and in multiple directions.
Terence Walker, VP Exploration, noted the significance of gold mineralization, including grades up to 1.08 g/t in hole 3, encountered at the bottom of each hole. CEO Al Kroontje added that the holes, located roughly 500 meters apart, all reported substantial gold intercepts, highlighting Cerro Blanco as a large and well-mineralized system with the potential to host a large gold/copper resource.

Cerro Blanco Feature Preliminary Interpretation
Hole SAL 02-24 yielded intercepts including 85.7 meters at 1.02 g/t Au, and Hole SAL 03-24 showed 24.0 meters at 1.28 g/t Au and 69.6 meters at 0.74 g/t Au.
Walker suggested the alteration types and IP/Chargeability anomalies indicate a gold/copper enriched porphyry deposit similar to the El Salvador mine complex. Additional IP coverage is planned to expand the exploration area, with infill lines and extensions to the east, north, and south.
San Lorenzo also announced that outstanding share purchase warrants and broker warrants were exercised prior to their expiry on March 13, 2025, resulting in total proceeds of $1,505,645. These funds will be used for follow-up IP and drilling programs at Cerro Blanco and Arco de Oro, as well as drilling at the Tres Amigos copper-rich epithermal system. The company anticipates receiving remaining assay results from Arco de Oro in the next week.
