Eastfield Resources Commences 2025 Exploration Program at Indata Property
Vancouver, BC — July 10, 2025 — NewsWall — Eastfield Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: ETF) has commenced its 2025 exploration program at the Indata Property in central British Columbia. Eastfield holds a 100% interest in Indata, with a 60% interest optioned to Star Copper Corp. (TSX-V: STCU). The property is prospective for copper, gold, and molybdenum, with antimony occurrences also documented.
Historical drill results include Hole IN22-82, which intersected 174.0 meters grading 0.23% Cu, including 29.0 meters grading 0.47% Cu. Historical hole DDH88-11 intersected 4.0 meters grading 47.26 g/t Au. Hole IN22-74 returned 31.0 meters grading 0.102% Mo, including 7.5 meters grading 0.320% Mo.
In the early stages of exploration, the focus was lode gold, with Placer Dome Inc. funding much of the work. Gold mineralization was associated with stibnite, with antimony assays often exceeding 0.5%, and in some cases reaching 3.8% Sb. Mechanical trenching and drilling revealed gold-bearing veins and silicified zones.
Soil sampling programs have evolved from targeting gold to copper, with copper values and widespread anomalous antimony readings (commonly over 100 ppm) observed over a north-south width exceeding five kilometers.
In 2022, exploration targeting potential Carbonate-Hosted Gold or Carbonate Replacement Deposit (CRD) mineralization resulted in the discovery of hole IN22-84, which intersected 81.0 meters of limestone breccia mineralized with silica, arsenic, and antimony. Follow-up geochemical analysis revealed anomalous antimony in soils surrounding this zone.
The Indata Property is located near the Pinchi Fault Zone, approximately 120 km northwest of Fort St. James, BC. The historic Snowbird Mine, situated 12 km west of Fort St. James, produced high-grade ore averaging 9% antimony and 0.25 oz/ton gold. The geological similarities support continued exploration for antimony-gold mineralization.
