Au Gold Corp Arranges $2 Million Private Placement to Fund Expanded Exploration Program
September 29, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Au Gold Corp (TSXV:AUGC) announced a non-brokered private placement of $2,000,000 to fund exploration and general corporate purposes. The offering consists of 8,695,652 units at $0.23 per unit. Each unit includes one share and a half warrant, with each whole warrant exercisable for one share at $0.40 within three years. Securities issued will be subject to a four-month-and-one-day hold period. This financing is pending approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.
Marc Blythe, Founder and CEO of AUGC, stated that the number and quality of drill targets identified at Havelock have surpassed expectations. Initially planned at 2,000 metres, the company now anticipates a 5,000-metre diamond drill program. Previous press releases detailing initial drill targets on the Shaw – McFarlane Trend were issued on September 16 and September 21, 2026.
The company is continuing its aggressive exploration of the Havelock Gold-Antimony Project, situated in Victoria, Australia.
