CiTech and Babcock Partner to Deliver 5G and ISR Capabilities to Ukrainian Armed Forces

Vancouver, BC — September 10, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Critical Infrastructure Technologies Ltd. (CiTech) and Babcock International Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to co-develop a rapidly deployable platform integrating 5G communications, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The agreement, signed at the DSEI expo in London, will focus on supplying 50 of CiTech’s Nexus 20 platforms to meet a Ukrainian Ministry of Defence request. The 20-foot containerized system will provide 5G communications, counter-UAS, and ISR capability, self-unloading and adapting to terrain, and deploying a 20m tower. Plans also include exploring a Nexus 20 assembly hub in Eastern Europe and NATO opportunities.

Babcock's International Director, Mark Goldsack, emphasized their commitment to Ukraine. CiTech CEO Brenton Scott highlighted the partnership's potential for scaling Nexus 20 across Ukraine and Eastern Europe, positioning it as a benchmark capability for NATO's Eastern Flank.
