First Tellurium Subsidiary PyroDelta's Tellurium-Based Waste Heat to Electricity Technology Featured in Metal Tech News Article
Vancouver, BC, Canada — September 4, 2026 — Leads & Copy — First Tellurium Corp. (CSE: FTEL, OTC: FSTTF) (“First Tellurium” or the “Company”) reports that its majority-owned subsidiary, PyroDelta Energy Corp. (“PyroDelta”), has been highlighted in a recent Metal Tech News article. The piece emphasizes the significance of tellurium in technological and energy systems, with a specific focus on PyroDelta’s tellurium-based innovations for converting waste heat into clean electricity.
The article, titled “Extracting Clean Energy from Copper Slime,” was published on August 24, 2026. It details PyroDelta’s development of tellurium-enhanced thermoelectric generators. These generators are designed to capture waste heat, particularly from AI data centers, and transform it into usable clean electricity. This process aims to reduce both the overall energy consumption and the cooling demands of such facilities.
While the article concentrates on data centers, the technology developed by PyroDelta possesses broader applicability. Potential uses extend across various sectors, including transportation, industrial processes, factories, and other environments where substantial amounts of waste heat are generated and could be harnessed.
“We’re pleased to see Metal Tech News spotlight how PyroDelta’s tellurium-based thermoelectric technology can turn the massive waste heat from data centers into a practical source of clean power,” stated Tyrone Docherty, President and CEO of First Tellurium.
