Ashley Gold Corp. Announces Encouraging Exploration Results from Burnthut Peninsula
Calgary, Alberta — July 9, 2025 — NewsWall — Ashley Gold Corp. (CSE: “ASHL”) has announced the receipt of assays from a ground sampling and mapping program, initially announced on June 6th, 2025.
The exploration program has led to the discovery of the Omega Extension, which is a continuation of the Omega Zone located 25-50 meters inland from the shoreline. The extension features a 10-meter wide altered tuff unit hosting quartz veinlets and up to 3% pyrite, consistent with previous core results from BH-01, which returned up to 3 g/t Au over 2m.
Additionally, inland areas along the Omega, Alpha, and Oro Grande West zones show potential, with altered tuff and pyrite concentrations observed, suggesting a continuous gold-bearing system extending inland from the shoreline.
The company has also identified a 20-30 meter wide deformation zone on the west side of the peninsula, featuring a 1-meter wide quartz vein with pyrite and malachite mineralization. The zone's shearing and quartz vein presence indicate potential for mineralization.
President Noah Komavli noted the discovery of the Omega Extension and the Big Zone on the west side of the peninsula, assaying with 0.7 g/t gold content, as significant indicators of the area's potential.
The exploration team is focused on permitting for shallow drilling and conducting induced polarization (IP) surveys to guide future exploration programs due to the thick moss cover across the area.
