September 4, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Fox Tungsten Ltd. (TSXV: FOXT; OTC Pink: FOXTF) has received crucial exemptions and authorizations from the British Columbia government, enabling construction of a new access trail to its Fox Tungsten Project in south-central British Columbia. The company announced it received an exemption from the British Columbia Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship for the trail construction through a Wildlife Habitat Area (WHA), along with necessary permits from the British Columbia Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals.
The new access trail is anticipated to enhance safety and reliability for personnel, equipment, and supplies, thereby boosting operational efficiency and reducing the need for helicopter support. This development marks a significant milestone for the Fox Project, according to company leadership.
As a condition of the WHA exemption, Fox Tungsten has committed to contributing approximately C$300,000 over five years to a regional caribou monitoring program. The company views this as an integral part of advancing the Fox Project responsibly and supporting ongoing caribou conservation efforts.
"Receiving these authorizations is an important milestone for the Fox Project," stated Steve Gray, President and CEO of Fox Tungsten. "The new access trail will improve safety and operating efficiency, reduce our reliance on helicopters and provide more reliable access as we continue to advance the project. We appreciate the collaborative approach taken by the Province throughout the review process and remain committed to responsible project development and supporting regional caribou conservation."
Additionally, Fox Tungsten's Multi-Year Area Based (MYAB) permit has been extended through March 31, 2031. The Company's fully funded 20,000-meter exploration program is progressing well, with initial assay results expected in the coming weeks.
