Copper One Resources Corp. Intersects Targeted Tourmaline Breccia Corridor, Confirming Geological Model at Majuba Hill Project
VANCOUVER, BC — July 31, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Copper One Resources Corp. announced the successful completion of drill hole MHB-38, reaching a depth of 608 feet (185.32 metres), at its Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold Project in Pershing County, Nevada. The company is preparing to begin drilling MHB-39, with assay results from MHB-37B still pending. The 2026 exploration program is progressing as scheduled.
MHB-38 was designed to investigate a newly identified north-northwest-trending tourmaline breccia body, discovered through recent surface mapping. Rock-chip samples from a road cut along the interpreted surface trace of this breccia yielded anomalous copper and gold values. The target breccia zone was intersected at the anticipated depth, aligning with the company's geological model.
The results from MHB-38 are expected to aid in defining the three-dimensional geometry and continuity of the breccia system, as well as the distribution of alteration and associated sulphide mineralization. This information will refine the geological model and optimize future drilling efforts. Core samples from MHB-38 have been transported to the company's secure core facility in Elko, Nevada, for logging, photographing, sampling, and preparation for shipment to ALS Laboratories.
Preliminary geological logging indicates that MHB-38 intersected tourmaline-altered magmatic breccia starting at approximately 262 feet (79.9 metres). This transitioned into a well-developed tourmaline breccia from around 338 feet (103.0 metres). An aphanitic rhyolite unit was encountered beginning at approximately 340 feet (103.6 metres). This rhyolite is interpreted as an early intrusive phase potentially linked to mineralization events observed elsewhere in the Majuba Hill system.
Tourmaline alteration and brecciation are recognized as significant exploration indicators at Majuba Hill. They are believed to represent pathways for hydrothermal fluids that may be associated with the development of the project's copper-silver-gold mineralizing system. The mineralization described in this release is based on geological logging and visual observations of alteration and sulphide minerals. The confirmation of copper, gold, and silver mineralization presence, abundance, and grade will be determined through independent laboratory analytical assays, which are currently pending. Geological logging, sampling, and analytical work are ongoing.
“The successful completion of MHB-38 marks another important milestone in our 2026 exploration program at Majuba Hill,” said David Greenway, President and CEO of Copper One. “The hole successfully intersected the targeted north-northwest-trending breccia corridor, confirming our geological model and providing valuable information on the structural controls and alteration associated with the mineralizing system. The observed tourmaline alteration, brecciation and intrusive relationships enhance our confidence in the evolving geological interpretation and will help refine future drill targeting as we continue to systematically evaluate the scale and continuity of the Majuba Hill copper-silver-gold system. We look forward to receiving assay results from both MHB-37B and MHB-38 while advancing the next phase of drilling.”
Majuba Hill is Copper One Resources Corp.'s flagship copper-silver-gold exploration project, located in Pershing County, Nevada, USA. The property spans approximately 9,684 acres (3,919 hectares) and is situated about 70 miles (113 road kilometres) southwest of Winnemucca and 156 miles (251 kilometres) northeast of Reno. The project benefits from excellent infrastructure, including year-round road access, nearby electrical power, water, and access to a skilled mining workforce. Majuba Hill is a past-producing copper mine with an extensive exploration database, including approximately 89,395 feet (27,248 metres) of historical drilling.
Copper One Resources Corp. is focused on identifying, acquiring, and advancing high-potential copper, copper-silver-gold, and copper-molybdenum projects. The company's flagship asset is the Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold District in Nevada. Copper One also owns a 100% interest in the Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project in British Columbia and holds an option to earn up to a 100% interest in the Redhill Property, also in British Columbia. Subject to a proposed transaction, Copper One will also own the Sport Project in Utah.
