Ni-Co Energy Inc. to Mobilize Technical Team to Kremer Property in June 2025
Gatineau, May 28, 2025 — NewsWall — Ni-Co Energy Inc. has announced its technical team will mobilize to the Kremer property around mid-June 2025. The project, prospective for nickel, copper, and cobalt, is located approximately 90 km north of downtown Montreal and about 15 km from the nearest municipality, in a remote forested area with road access and proximity to the hydroelectric grid.
The summer field program, running from June to July, will target prospecting of southwest TDEM conductors (Kremer-2) to verify outcropping massive or semi-massive sulfides, and prospecting of northeast TDEM conductors (Kremer-1 2) to assess EM anomalies and associated metallic indicators. Analysis of residual conductors in the eastern portion will refine the global geophysical model ahead of drill target placement.
Updated interpretation of 420 assays from 22 holes drilled in fall 2023, recalculated in terms of nickel equivalent (NiEq %) using metal prices as of May 22, 2025, confirms significant mineralization. Data shows 134 samples (≈ 32%) > 0.5 % NiEq, 70 samples (≈ 17%) > 1.0 % NiEq, a maximum grade of 3.89 % NiEq, and an average grade of 0.48 % NiEq. This mineralization is potentially associated with a mafic intrusion interpreted from geophysical surveys, with magnetic, gravity, and EM data showing remarkable alignment over 8 km.
The company anticipates a fall drill program to validate the position and dip of key targets through surface work, mobilize two drill rigs to test the central fold hinge and associated deep conductors, and carry out borehole EM (BHEM) surveys after each drill hole.
