Plaid Technologies Inc. Applies for Management Cease Trade Order Due to Delayed Filings
VANCOUVER, BC — July 30, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Plaid Technologies Inc. has applied to the British Columbia Securities Commission for a temporary management cease trade order (MCTO) under National Policy 12-203 Cease Trade Orders for Continuous Disclosure Defaults. This order will prohibit the company's Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer from trading the company's securities until required filings are completed and the MCTO is lifted. During the MCTO period, the general public, excluding insiders, will still be able to trade the company's listed securities. The MCTO was officially granted on July 30, 2026.
The application for the MCTO was made because Plaid Technologies anticipated it would be unable to file its audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, along with the related management's discussion and analysis and CEO and CFO certificates, by the July 29, 2026 deadline. The company cited a change in auditors in April 2026 and a fundamental change in August 2025 as reasons for the expected delay in audit completion. Plaid Technologies expects to rectify the default by filing the necessary documents before September 28, 2026, at which point the MCTO will be lifted.
As per National Policy 142-203, Plaid Technologies confirmed it is not currently subject to any insolvency proceedings. The company also stated that it intends to comply with the alternative information guidelines outlined in National Policy 12-203 Management Cease Trade Orders for as long as it remains in default. Other than what has been disclosed in this announcement, Plaid Technologies confirmed that there is no other material undisclosed information regarding the company's affairs.
