Comet Industries Secures Lot 1 Contract at Iron Mask Industrial Park

Kamloops, B.C. — October 23, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Comet Industries Ltd. (TSXV:CMU) has announced continued progress at its Iron Mask Industrial Park (IMIP) development, with Lot 1, a 10-acre parcel, now under contract in a proposed transaction valued at approximately $10.3 million. This proposed deal marks a significant step for the 190-acre light industrial park, adding to previous sales of a 24.36-acre parcel and a 1.25-acre parcel.

The growing interest in IMIP stems from its appeal to businesses seeking serviced industrial land, robust transportation links, and expansion opportunities within Kamloops.

“This is another exciting step forward for Iron Mask Industrial Park and a strong indication of the interest we're seeing in the development,” said Mike O'Reilly, President and CEO of Comet Industries. “We've worked hard to create a location that meets the needs of businesses looking to establish or expand their operations in Kamloops. With another major parcel under contract, we're seeing that vision continue to take shape.”

Strategically situated within Kamloops’ city limits, IMIP offers convenient access to the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) and Coquihalla Highway (Highway 5), providing businesses with connectivity to major transportation networks across British Columbia and beyond. The park is designed to accommodate diverse light industrial uses, featuring utilities such as water, sewer, hydro, and natural gas at lot lines. It also boasts spacious road networks suitable for commercial trucking and flexible parcel configurations. Additionally, IMIP provides easy access to downtown Kamloops, Kamloops Airport, and both CN and CP rail yards.

Blake Gozda, Senior Vice President, Industrial with Cushman & Wakefield, highlighted the development's attractive combination of location, infrastructure, and flexibility for businesses evaluating their next operational move.

“What has made Iron Mask Industrial Park particularly attractive to the businesses our team has been talking to is the ability to find industrial space that meets their needs today while allowing for future growth,” said Gozda. “The combination of serviced land, transportation access, and flexible lot sizes creates a compelling opportunity for companies looking to expand in the Kamloops region.”

With additional parcels available and options to combine lots for larger industrial operations, IMIP is positioned to contribute significantly to Kamloops' future economic growth. Phase 1 of the development is currently approximately 60% sold out.

“We're excited about the momentum we're building and the opportunities ahead,” added O'Reilly. “Iron Mask Industrial Park is about supporting long-term business growth and amplifying new opportunities for companies to be part of Kamloops' future.”
