Desert Mountain Energy Advances Gas Gathering System, Forms Carbon Capture Subsidiary

Vancouver, Canada — May 5, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Desert Mountain Energy Corp. is moving forward with plans to reconfigure its Pecos Slope gas gathering system to boost natural gas sales and enhance helium plant operations.

The company is raising capital for the project, which includes replacing miles of aging and inefficient gathering system lines, some over 45 years old and requiring frequent maintenance.

The reconfiguration is projected to lower long-term operating costs and increase overall gas sales. Desert Mountain Energy has existing rights of way and is acquiring additional gas lines and securing new rights of way as needed.

Regarding litigation with the City of Flagstaff, the Arizona Court of Appeals ruled in favor of Desert Mountain Energy, directing judgment be entered in its favor on all claims. The City has since filed a new lawsuit, which Desert Mountain Energy has moved to Federal Court and will continue to defend vigorously.

The company is awaiting a decision from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality on requests related to previously drilled wells south of Winslow, Arizona, and continues to maintain its solar facilities in the area.

In addition to forming Helios Data Company for digital assets, Desert Mountain Energy has established DME Carbon Cap LLC in Wyoming for future carbon capture initiatives. The company majority-owns the new subsidiary, intending to offer its technology and plant design to third parties and support a potential uplisting to a senior U.S. exchange.

Desert Energy UK Ltd. has received gas, soil, and geological data from independent third parties and is working with potential partners to confirm analysis and potentially acquire seismic data. Mr. Orr has resigned as COO, effective May 5, 2026, to focus on the company's subsidiary development opportunities in the UK and the United States.

Desert Mountain Energy Corp. explores, develops, and produces helium, hydrogen, and natural gas. The company focuses on extracting helium from various raw gas sources in an environmentally and economically sound manner, supplying elements critical to renewable energy and high-tech industries.
