Stellar AfricaGold Provides Exploration Update on Zuénoula Gold Project in Cote d'Ivoire, Community Engagement Underway
Vancouver, BC – October 22, 2026 – Leads & Copy – Stellar AfricaGold Inc. provided an update on its exploration activities for the calendar quarter ending September 30, 2026, at the Stellar-MetalsGrove Joint Venture Zuénoula Gold Project in Cote d’Ivoire. The project operator, MetalsGrove CDI Pty Ltd, advanced exploration focused on Stellar’s Zuénoula gold permit (PR-750), which is held under a joint venture with Aucrest SARL, Stellar’s Ivorian subsidiary.
In July 2026, a technical review of infill soil sampling results refined the exploration focus to six drill targets within three principal prospects: Fifty-Five, Central, and South East. These targets were being further refined through additional soil sampling and auger drilling before advancing to Air Core (AC), Reverse Circulation (RC), and Diamond Drilling (DD) programs. A 10,000-meter auger drilling program commenced.
Exploration efforts improved the definition and continuity of gold anomalism, confirming the six priority drill targets. The planned 10,000-meter auger drilling program began as scheduled but was suspended due to concerns raised by local villagers. This led to an expansion of community engagement efforts, involving local government officials, village chiefs, and a broader group of local stakeholders to enhance understanding and support for the Company's exploration activities.
These engagement efforts aimed to improve residents' understanding of the limited environmental and land-use impacts associated with early-stage mineral exploration. They also sought to clearly distinguish professional, government-authorized exploration by companies like MetalsGrove and Stellar from unauthorized artisanal mining operations.
Community engagement is ongoing, with MetalsGrove working collaboratively with stakeholders to build mutual understanding, address legitimate concerns, and highlight the potential long-term community benefits of responsible mineral exploration. MetalsGrove has hired a full-time Ivorian community liaison officer to facilitate this engagement.
Meanwhile, infill soil sampling continues in selected areas of the Zuénoula permit to further refine gold anomalies and define new drill targets. This work precedes the anticipated resumption of auger drilling and, as warranted, AC, RC, or DD programs.
The auger drilling program is expected to resume progressively as community engagement advances and broader community support is established. Shareholders will be notified upon the resumption of auger drilling.
The Stellar-MetalsGrove Zuénoula Gold Project is a joint venture where MetalsGrove, the operator, can earn up to a 50% interest by incurring US$3,000,000 in exploration expenditures, and up to an 80% interest by incurring a total of US$6,000,000 in exploration expenditures.
Technical information in the release was reviewed and approved by Mr. Lijun Yang, Managing Director of MetalsGrove Mining Limited and a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (MAIG), who is a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101.
