Bitcoin Well Reports August 2026 Operating Results and Business Updates Amidst Market Fluctuations
Edmonton, Alberta — September 3, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Bitcoin Well Inc., a publicly traded non-custodial bitcoin company, today reported preliminary operating results and business updates for August 2026. The company highlighted key performance indicators, including gross profit, total customer base, and yearly active users.
In August 2026, gross profit was over $265,000, a decrease from $295,000 in July 2026 and significantly lower than $546,000 in August 2025. Bitcoin Well attributed this decline to overall market sentiment surrounding bitcoin. The bitcoin price in August 2025 was $108,000 USD, heading towards its all-time high, while in August 2026, it opened the month at $63,000 USD and closed near $80,000 USD.
The total customer base surpassed 80,500 by the end of August 2026, an increase from 79,000 at the end of July 2026 and 59,900 at the end of August 2025. Yearly active users stood at over 12,600, down from 13,111 at the end of July 2026 but up from 11,824 at the end of August 2025.
Significant advancements were made in August, including continued development of the Bitcoin IRA, scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2026. Improvements were also made to the Bitcoin Well Infinite portal, aimed at serving clients with large transactions, and security enhancements were implemented in response to increased attacks across the bitcoin ecosystem. Bitcoin Well reported no losses resulting from these attacks.
The Bitcoin IRA is expected to provide a substantial boost in customer acquisition and spending in the final quarter of the year, particularly for American customers looking to buy bitcoin within tax-advantaged structures. Continued improvements to the Bitcoin Well Infinite portal are anticipated to drive further growth in sales for this segment.
Adam O’Brien, Founder and CEO of Bitcoin Well, expressed pride in the team's efforts to maintain company safety and security during August, noting the development of the IRA product and swift responses to indirect attacks. He also observed a spike in customer activity and volume due to the increase in bitcoin's price, stating that the company is prepared for both bear and bull markets.
In a separate announcement, Bitcoin Well reported a debt settlement with a creditor amounting to $84,048.00 as of August 31, 2026. This indebtedness stemmed from a sponsorship agreement for services accrued between March 1, 2026, and July 31, 2026. The debt will be settled through the issuance of 2,101,200 common shares at a deemed price of $0.04 per share. The creditor is an arm's length party, and the share issuance will not create a new insider or control person. The debt settlement is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval, and the issued shares will be subject to a four-month-and-one-day statutory hold period.
Bitcoin Well is focused on making bitcoin accessible for everyday use, aiming to provide the convenience of modern banking with the benefits of bitcoin. Its existing Bitcoin ATM and Online Bitcoin Portal businesses generate cash flow to support this mission.
