VanadiumCorp Resource Inc. Completes Rock Chip Sampling Program at Lac Doré Vanadium-Iron-Titanium Project
Vancouver, British Columbia — September 8, 2026 — Leads & Copy — VanadiumCorp Resource Inc. has successfully completed a rock chip sampling program at its wholly-owned Lac Doré Vanadium-Iron-Titanium Project in the Chibougamau Mining District of Québec. The program was conducted by Explo-Logik Inc. to gather updated geological and geochemical data, aiming to refine the property's geological interpretation and guide future exploration and development efforts.
A total of 53 rock chip samples were collected from prospective areas within the property's main anorthosite and gabbro units, which contain the vanadiferous magnetite horizons central to VanadiumCorp's focus at Lac Doré. These samples were strategically gathered to ensure representative coverage of mapped lithologies and structural settings in the targeted sectors.
All collected samples have been sent to AGAT Laboratories, an independent, accredited analytical facility, for preparation and multi-element analysis, including vanadium, iron, and titanium. The anticipated results are expected to support the Company's ongoing assessment of priority target areas and contribute to the updating of geological models for the Lac Doré property.
“Lac Doré remains the cornerstone of our critical minerals strategy, and this program adds modern, systematic sample coverage to a property with a long exploration history,” said Kristien Davenport, President, CEO and Director of VanadiumCorp. “The 53 rock chip samples collected will help us refine our geological interpretation of the vanadium-iron-titanium horizons and focus our next phase of work on the highest-priority sectors.”
The Chibougamau Mining District is recognized for its significant occurrences of vanadium, iron, titanium, gold, copper, and other critical minerals. VanadiumCorp believes that applying contemporary exploration techniques to historically explored sites may uncover and refine new exploration targets.
The Company plans to issue further updates upon receipt, review, and interpretation of the analytical results by its technical team. VanadiumCorp also recently completed a 314-sample soil geochemical survey at its Lac Laura Gold-Copper Property, with results still pending, as previously disclosed in a news release dated August 18, 2026.
Maps and figures detailing the Lac Doré rock chip sample locations will be made available on the Company's website.
The field exploration program was managed by Explo-Logik Inc. of Val-d'Or, Québec. Samples were prepared and analyzed by AGAT Laboratories in Val-d'Or, Québec. Rock chip samples will be analyzed for vanadium, iron, titanium, and associated elements using industry-standard methods. Elevated values may trigger additional testing. VanadiumCorp's quality assurance and quality control program includes the use of certified reference materials, blanks, and duplicate samples, with data reviewed to ensure accuracy and precision.
