Charbone Corporation Announces Name Change and Relocation to Varennes, Quebec
Brossard, Quebec, June 3, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Charbone Corporation, formerly Charbone Hydrogen Corporation, announced its official name change and strategic relocation to Varennes, Quebec. The company, a vertically integrated industrial gases provider, made these changes to better reflect its evolution into a comprehensive industrial gases platform beyond its initial focus on hydrogen production.
The decision for the name change, approved by shareholders on March 28, 2025, aims to position Charbone Corporation alongside established industrial gases leaders as it expands its network of regional supply hubs. The company’s platform now encompasses multiple gases, including hydrogen, oxygen, and helium, serving high-growth sectors such as semiconductors, AI/data centers, advanced pharmaceuticals, and aerospace and defense.
Articles of amendment effecting the name change have been filed with the Business Corporations Act (Quebec) and are available on the Company’s SEDAR+ profile. The TSX Venture Exchange (“TSXV”) has approved the name change. The company's ticker symbols remain unchanged: TSXV (CH), OTCQB (CHHYF), and Frankfurt Stock Exchange (K47). The name change is effective June 8, 2026, with a new CUSIP number of 159916105 (ISIN:CA1599161058).
In conjunction with its operational ramp-up, Charbone has also relocated its registered and principal business address to 1645 boulevard Lionel-Boulet, Suite 304, Varennes, Quebec, J3X 1P7. This new location in Varennes is strategically situated near the company's Sorel-Tracy production plant, providing a central hub for its growing industrial gases platform. The new premises offer increased space and cost efficiencies to support anticipated growth in human capital and operations.
“The formalization of our name to Charbone Corporation is more than a rebranding, it is a statement of intent,” said Dave Gagnon, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of CHARBONE. “We are no longer just a hydrogen company. We are building a vertically integrated, multi-molecule industrial gases platform, and the name Charbone Corporation reflects that ambition. Combined with our relocation to Varennes, which places us closer to our flagship operations and better positions us for growth, we believe these changes reinforce our commitment to executing on our long-term strategic vision as a leading industrial gases platform in North America and beyond.”
Additionally, Charbone announced the renewal of its engagement with US-based investor relations firm RB Milestone Group LLC (RBMG) for an additional 12-month term, commencing May 20, 2026. RBMG will continue to provide investor relations services, including corporate communications, market intelligence, and business referrals.
