Blende Silver Corp. Announces Update on Blende Zinc-Lead-Silver Property
Vancouver, Canada — September 10, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Blende Silver Corp. (TSX:BAG) has provided an update on its 5,434-hectare Blende zinc-lead-silver property in Yukon. The property is located within the Traditional Territory of the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyӓk Dun, 65 km northeast of Keno City.
The company submitted its proposal for a Class 4 Quartz Mining Land Use Approval in January 2025 and has been working with regulators to facilitate the permit approval, which is needed for advancing exploration and development. Proposed activities include upgrading up to 5 km of existing trails, constructing up to 2 km of new trail, one new heli-pad, a 1 km air strip, and a new camp facility.
The Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board has extended the public comment period on the project to September 18, 2025. Blende Silver is also proceeding with a smaller Class 1 Exploration Notification, involving the installation of a smaller-scale camp at the existing site to support a surface drill program.
Andrew H Rees, director of Blende Silver Corp., stated the company is excited to continue exploration. In 1995, the Blende Property was reported to be the largest strata-bound, carbonate-hosted, zinc-lead deposit in the Yukon.
The property covers a Proterozoic-aged carbonate-hosted massive sulphide deposit. A NI 43-101 compliant Mineral Resource Estimate, effective March 15, 2021, reported an Indicated Mineral Resource of 4.6 million tonnes and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 42.2 million tonnes.
