Onco-Innovations Announces Advancements in Polymer Development Program for ONC010
Vancouver, Canada — July 30, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Onco-Innovations Limited (CBOE CA: ONCO) (OTCQB: ONNVF) (Frankfurt: W1H, WKN: A3EKSZ) announced progress in its collaborative polymer development program with Nanosoft Polymers, focusing on enhancing the consistency and uniformity of the polymer used in ONC010, the company's lead nanoparticle-formulated Polynucleotide Kinase Phosphatase (PNKP) inhibitor. This work is a crucial part of the chemistry, manufacturing and controls (CMC) development for ONC010.
The program's core objective is to improve control over the polymer's polydispersity index (PDI), a key metric for molecular weight uniformity. Enhanced PDI control is anticipated to lead to more consistent polymer characteristics, improved nanoparticle formation, better formulation performance, and greater batch-to-batch manufacturing reproducibility. The ongoing efforts are dedicated to developing a robust manufacturing process for Onco's proprietary PEO-PBCL block copolymer, a vital component of the nanoparticle delivery platform for ONC010.
Onco and Nanosoft are also progressing with analytical characterization and scale-up activities. These initiatives are designed to help define critical manufacturing parameters and provide essential support for future good manufacturing practice (GMP) production and clinical development. Nanosoft has advanced multiple technical workstreams, establishing critical manufacturing parameters since the program's inception. Key areas of focus have included catalyst selection and reaction optimization to improve polymer consistency, alongside refinements in purification strategies and manufacturing efficiency.
