Baru Gold Corp. Receives Confirmation of Complete Application for Sangihe Gold Project Production Approval
VANCOUVER, B.C. — September 8, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Baru Gold Corp. announced today that its 70%-owned Indonesian subsidiary, PT Tambang Mas Sangihe, has received confirmation from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia (ESDM) that its application to commence production operations at the Sangihe Gold Project is complete and requires no further meetings or submissions from the Company.
The Company was notified that ESDM has progressed to the final administrative steps for the issuance of the production approval. While a specific issuance date has not been provided, Baru Gold management anticipates receiving approval in October and is in regular communication with ESDM for updates.
With regulatory requirements fulfilled and no further meetings necessary, Baru Gold's focus is now on community engagement, supporting the finalization of the approval process, and preparing for the commencement of operations at the Sangihe Gold Project.

The Sangihe Gold Project is located on the Indonesian island of Sangihe, off the northern coast of Sulawesi, encompassing a gold-bearing area of approximately 25,000 hectares. The project has an existing National Instrument 43-101 report suitable for mining planning and production schedules for an area within the 65-hectare zone targeted for initial production. Only 10% of the gold-bearing area has been explored.
Baru Gold holds a 70 percent interest in the Sangihe mineral tenement Contract of Work through PT. Tambang Mas Sangihe, with the remaining 30 percent held by other Indonesian corporations. The Contract of Work agreement has a term of 30 years upon commencement of the production phase. The Company has met all requirements of the Indonesian government and has been granted its environmental permit.
