Ashley Gold Corp. Provides Operational Update on Tak Patents Diamond Drilling Program
CALGARY, ALBERTA — April 20, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Ashley Gold Corp. (CSE: ASHL) has shared visuals and operational updates from its diamond drilling program on the 100% owned Tak Patents.
The company has completed four holes, and core logging and cutting are underway. As of today, 62 samples, encompassing the entirety of TAK-26-01, are being submitted for assay.
President Noah Komavli stated that visiting the region and project was eye-opening and full of activity. He added that the Tak project boasts scale, which is not easily appreciated on regional maps due to the presence of NexGold, Kenorland, and Dryden Gold. Komavli also mentioned meeting with stakeholders to ensure Ashley Gold has local connections for long-term operational support.
During Phase 1 drilling, the following holes have been completed:
- Pad 1, Hole 1: Undercut and step back from TAK-99-10. Logging and cutting completed.
- Pad 2, Hole 2: East fan on TAK-02-02. Logging and cutting ongoing.
- Pad 2, Hole 3: West fan on TAK-02-02.
- Pad 3, Hole 4: North hole to test undrilled zones under the historically worked trenches.
Core logging and cutting are progressing at anticipated rates, with current focus on TAK-26-02. TAK-26-01 has been logged and cut, and samples are expected to be delivered to ActLabs Dryden today.
TAK-26-02, designed as an eastward fan of Southern Rio TAK-02-02, has a completed drill length of 200m. The company release included images of example mineralization and alteration found in the core, showcasing quartz stockwork with hydrothermal pyrite, fine disseminated sulphides, pyrite cubes in potassic altered quartz feldspar porphyry, and quartz carbonate veining.
The technical information in this release was reviewed and approved by Shannon Baird, P.Geo., Exploration Manager of Ashley Gold Corp., who is a Qualified Person as defined in National Instrument 43-101.
