Coniagas Battery Metals Cancels Private Placement Offering Due to Market Conditions

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — January 14, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Coniagas Battery Metals Inc. has decided to cancel its previously announced non-brokered private placement offering due to unfavorable market conditions.

The offering, referred to as the “LIFE Offering,” was intended to be conducted under the Listed Issuer Financing Offering as outlined in section 5A.2 of National Instrument 45-106. This instrument concerns prospectus exemptions and is amended by Coordinated Blanket Order 45-935, which covers exemptions from certain conditions of the Listed Issuer Financing Exemption.

The LIFE Offering was initially announced on December 3, 2025, with further details available in prior news releases from the company.

Coniagas Battery Metals Inc. is currently evaluating other potential financing options and plans to provide updates as appropriate.

Coniagas is a Canadian junior mining company concentrating on nickel, copper, cobalt, and platinum group metals in Québec. Their strategy involves developing mineral properties to increase shareholder value, with the goal of becoming a key supplier of critical metals to the electric vehicle market.

At its 100% owned Graal project near Saguenay, Quebec, the company has carried out successful exploration, including geophysics and shallow drilling, which has shown mineralization in almost every hole. This has confirmed an open-pit deposit model at Graal along a 6 km strike length of high-grade nickel and copper, with cobalt, platinum, and palladium byproducts. The company plans to conduct additional drilling, produce a Ni 43-101 resource report, perform metallurgical testing, and consult with First Nations.

Detailed information on the Graal project and the immediate work plan can be found in the “NI 43-101 Technical Report Graal Nickel & Copper Project, Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Quebec, Canada,” dated January 17, 2024, which is available on the company’s website.
