Uranium One Mining Corp. Appoints Adrian Huerta Ruiz as Technical Advisor for Athabasca Basin Uranium Exploration

Vancouver, BC – October 23, 2026 – Leads & Copy – Uranium One Mining Corp. announced Friday it has appointed Adrian Huerta Ruiz as a Technical Advisor to focus on its uranium exploration interests in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. Ruiz, a Certified Professional Geologist (CPG) with over 14 years of experience in mineral exploration and mining, will provide technical guidance for the Company’s exploration activities.

Ruiz’s expertise includes managing exploration programs, drill planning, geological mapping and interpretation, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures. He has direct experience with uranium exploration projects in the Athabasca Basin, including core logging and sampling for sandstone- and basement-hosted uranium systems.

In his new role, Ruiz is expected to support the evaluation, planning, and prioritization of exploration activities across Uranium One’s Athabasca Basin uranium portfolio and assist with preparations for the upcoming field exploration season. Larry Segerstrom, Director and P.Geo., stated that Ruiz's experience will enhance the company's technical capabilities as it prepares for its maiden exploration season in the region.

Uranium One's Athabasca Basin portfolio includes three projects: Pasfield Lake, Quark, and Nucleon. The Pasfield Lake Project, the company's flagship Canadian uranium exploration asset, covers approximately 4,400 hectares in the eastern Athabasca Basin. It is located about 60 kilometres northwest of Cameco’s Cigar Lake Mine and benefits from a prospective geological setting with favourable basement rocks, regional fault systems, and historical exploration results. A substantial technical database, including geophysical surveys and diamond drilling from previous operators, provides a foundation for modern exploration techniques.

The Quark Project is a large, contiguous land package of approximately 28,746 hectares situated within the Western Wollaston Domain and Wollaston–Mudjatik Transition Zone, an area known for hosting many of Canada’s uranium mines. The project is adjacent to and along trend with properties operated by major companies like Orano Canada and Fission Uranium, offering proximity to established infrastructure and proven mineralization corridors.

The Nucleon Uranium Project comprises seven exploration-stage mineral claims totaling approximately 23,424.90 hectares in northern Saskatchewan, within the Athabasca Basin. It is organized into four prospective exploration areas along key uranium discovery corridors. The Athabasca Basin is recognized globally for its high-grade uranium deposits and significant contribution to global uranium supply.

The scientific and technical information in this news release was reviewed and approved by Lawrence Segerstrom, a consulting geologist and Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101. The company also announced the grant of 3,400,000 restricted share units (RSUs) to officers, directors, and consultants, subject to the terms of its RSU plan and CSE policies.
